Responsibilities
Manage and oversee a high-volume docket of personal injury cases from intake to settlement
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiations, and Liens, to ensure seamless communication and case progression
Conduct liability analysis, evaluate coverage, and develop case strategies that support successful resolution
Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing clear updates and high-quality service throughout each stage of representation
Review and assess medical records, police reports, discovery documents, and insurance materials to determine case value and settlement potential
Draft and respond to correspondence, demand letters, and settlement communications
Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to obtain favorable outcomes for clients
Prepare cases for litigation handoff when settlement cannot be achieved
Maintain accurate and detailed notes in the firm’s case management system
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
Minimum 5 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience required
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload with minimal supervision
Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
