Oversee and manage all areas of design: Concept, Design Development, Documentation & Administration, and Purchasing
Technical Drawings for all phases of design (high proficiency in CAD)
Project Budgeting
Project Presentations
Client and Vendor interaction
Construction Administration
Scheduling, Reporting Project Status and detailed follow-up
Installations and Photo/Video Documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree from a competitive interior design program
At least 3 years of full-time, professional experience in a high-end residential design setting
High level of proficiency in 2D drawing - sketching and AutoCAD
Extensive knowledge of vintage, trade and bespoke sources
High proficiency in graphic presentation skills, including Adobe Photoshop
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well Versed Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, etc
High-end construction job-site experience for new construction and renovations
Ability to collaborate comfortably with new and existing client base
Understand project scope; foresee work needed and potential conflicts
Display a strong work ethic and honesty. Be reliable, punctual, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations
Fluency in the English language and professional appearance required
Current driver's license with flexibility to travel to sites in the Tri-state area including NYC, CT, Westchester, Long Island and New Jersey
Ability to remain positive, flexible, and collected in high-stress situations
Interest in professional development; motivated to expand responsibilities
