Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive process safety management systems that align with industry standards and regulations
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, providing engineering solutions and preventive measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and training on process safety matters

Required

Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or 10+ years' experience relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing plant in lieu of bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience in process safety management or related roles
Experience with all elements of process safety management
Process engineering experience in the Oil, Gas, or Chemical industry
In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations and best practices
Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits, and familiarity with safety management systems
Due to compliance with U. S export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in U.S

Preferred

Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience in leading process hazard analysis studies
Professional Engineering license (PE)
Experience with Relief and Blowdown calculations
Experience in leading process safety initiatives in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
