Senior Software Engineer, Simulation Engine

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Simulation Engine team, responsible for developing simulation frameworks for validating the autonomy software stack and supporting reinforcement learning model training.

Responsibilities
Drive the development of simulation frameworks that enable high-fidelity and high-performance validation of the autonomy stack
Develop the gym environment for reinforcement learning model training
Provide the best developer experience and effectively drive collaborations across large engineering organizations
Qualification
Required
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning or equivalent experience
5+ years relevant industry experience
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
Clear track record of effective collaboration with customers and continuous delivery of quality results in a hybrid or remote workplace. Comfortable collaborating across large engineering organizations
Passion for safe, fully-electric, self-driving technology and its impact on the world
Preferred
Experience with building or extending AV/Robotic simulation
Experience working on game engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or PhysX
Experience with reinforcement learning, gym environment, or LLM
Strong programming skills in modern C++ and Object-oriented Design
