Responsibilities
FEA and CFD Support: Participate in FEA and CFD simulations to analyze structural integrity and fluid dynamics of components and systems
Model Development: Assist in developing and validating simulation models to predict performance under various operating conditions
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering in the design and R&D teams to provide insight and recommendations based on analysis results, contributing to design improvements
Data Analysis: Analyze data from simulations and tests to validate results and identify key trends or behaviors
Documentation: Help prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and results to the team
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or another closely related field
Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for Spring-Summer 2026 semesters January-August
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on learning and improvement
Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation
Preferred
Relevant coursework or projects in test stand engineering, FEA, and CFD analysis is preferred
Familiarity with analysis software such as ANSYS, CREO, or MATLAB is a plus
