Responsibilities
Creating purchase orders for the acquisition of materials
Researching, interviewing, and negotiating with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications
Providing routine administrative support
The administration of production stockroom, ordering production essentials, maintaining inventory levels, requisitioning, receiving of inventory and heavy data entry
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance shop and manufacturing environment
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within maintenance industry
Proficient in electrical and mechanical terminology
Intermediate skills in personal computers, data entry, email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Able to work independently with little direct supervision
Good interpersonal and clear communication skills
Preferred
MP2 (CMMS) and MACOLA purchasing program experience a plus
