Responsibilities
Oversee the operations and management of a warehouse within a specific branch location
Ensuring the efficient handling and storage of goods
Maintaining inventory accuracy
Coordinating the movement of products in and out of the warehouse
Managing a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
Delegating tasks
Setting performance targets
Ensuring that all warehouse operations are carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Tracking stock levels
Conducting regular inventory audits
Implementing processes to minimize discrepancies and stockouts
Collaborating with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and logistics, to forecast inventory needs and ensure timely product availability
Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize warehouse operations, streamline processes, and maximize efficiency
Ensuring that the warehouse is properly maintained and organized, with optimal utilization of space and equipment
Managing and controlling inventory levels
Optimizing warehouse operations
Ensuring the smooth flow of products to meet customer demands while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar managerial role
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management
Experience in managing a team and conducting performance evaluations
Ability to implement and optimize warehouse processes
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
