They are seeking a Physical Layout Designer with Substation / Power experience to work with a team of Electrical Engineers and Design drafters to generate electrical layout drawings for high voltage substations and power plants.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include working with a team of Electrical Engineers and Design drafters to generate Electrical layout drawings for High Voltage Substations and / or Power Plants
Responsibilities will include preparing the following drawings for substation or power plant facilities:
General Arrangement
Electrical Equipment Plans
Conduit/Cable Schedules
Electrical Details – Section views and elevations
Bill of Material
Conduit / Raceway Plans / Cable Tray/ Underground Ductbank
Lighting, Grounding, Power, Heat Tracing, etc
Perform facility / substation walkdowns
Following client’s standards
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Previous work experience as Physical Designer in the Power Industry (substations / power plants)
Experience in 3D Modeling Plant 3D and/or Revit
Experience using AutoCAD and/or Microstation
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
The applicant must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to be part of a project team
