Intermediate Electrical Engineer
WSP is a leading professional services firm focused on future-proofing cities and environments. They are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to work on a variety of projects in the Energy and Process division, including gas compression and energy transition projects, ensuring the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects and mentoring design engineering staff.

Responsibilities
Champion WSP Project procedures across all projects
Execute the design and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects
Create innovative concepts for execution
Drive planning, scheduling, and cost control activities
Review and stamp drawings, ensuring compliance with design codes
Define and establish project scopes
Navigate scope change requests and evaluate trends
Master computer simulation programs and engineering spreadsheets
Mentor and oversee design engineering staff
Collaborate with various disciplines to manage cost and schedule impacts
Qualification
Required
University Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Current P.Eng. P.L. ENG, ING. designation in province of residence
At least 5+ years of relevant post-graduate electrical engineering experience in an EPCM environment ideally in the energy industry
Oil and Gas project experience desired
Previous experience in engineering consulting environment
Experience with power simulation software such as ETAP, SKM and EASYPOWER
