The Buyer will be responsible for procuring materials for various aircraft development programs, including build-to-print parts and commercial off-the-shelf components.

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or equivalent work experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Buyer
Overall 7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management
Must be a U.S. Person
Knowledge of compliance acquisition procedures and FAR/DFAR requirements
Purchasing experience to include development of RFPs, statements of work, evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria

Preferred

Experience with purchased services/subcontracting
Excellent communication and relationship building skills to enable effective relationships with suppliers, Engineering, and Program Management
Experience with both development and production programs in the aerospace industry
International subcontract experience with working knowledge of import/export compliance and ITAR regulations
