Responsibilities
Guide and lead engineers, project management, and product development with your industry experience and knowledge of ICT design
Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings for sheet metal enclosures and other components using Autodesk Inventor and other software
Collaborate with sales, product development, project managers, and other colleagues and industry leaders to design products and solutions that meet or exceed our customers’ expectations
Interface with manufacturing teams, external vendors, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs and drawings align with manufacturing capabilities
Coordinate with other teams and departments to create and develop instructions and other support documentation for both customer and standard products
Troubleshoot manufacturing and design issues, contribute to their resolution—hands-on when necessary—and apply lessons learned to drive future improvements
Qualification
Required
Experience in information communication technology (ICT) industry, data centers or other IT infrastructure design
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
8-10 years of engineering experience in sheet metal design or manufacturing
Strong background in 3D modeling; Autodesk Inventor preferred
Strong communication skills with ability to work efficiently, both independently and within a team
Experience working in a customer-focused, engineered-to-order (ETO) environment
Experience designing for manufacturing processes including laser cutting, punch press, press brake, welding, and powder coating
Strong proficiency in industry standards and regulatory requirements
Preferred
Hands on or applied experience in manufacturing, sheet metal preferred
Experience with Autodesk i logic, VisualBasic.NET(VB.NET), python, C# or C++
