Responsibilities

Develop and implement global commodity strategies that align with business goals and market dynamics

Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for key commodities

Drive global sourcing initiatives to achieve cost savings, quality improvements, and risk mitigation

Monitor global market trends, supply chain risks, and geopolitical factors impacting commodity pricing and availability

Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, fostering innovation and continuous improvement

Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and regional procurement teams to ensure alignment and execution

Establish and track KPIs, cost models, and performance metrics across commodities

Integrate analytics, automation, and procurement technologies to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency

Champion sustainability, diversity, and compliance initiatives within the supply base

Lead and develop a high-performing global commodity management team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field

10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or global procurement

Proven leadership experience managing global teams and complex supplier networks

Deep understanding of commodity markets, cost drivers, and global sourcing strategies

Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills

Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior leadership across global business units

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or technology sectors

Experience with ERP and procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle)

Expertise in managing both direct and indirect spend categories

Familiarity with ESG, supplier diversity, and digital procurement transformation

English required

Travel, both domestic and international, will be required up to 20%

Preferred

Spanish is desired
