Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring timely acquisition of quality goods and services to support business needs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing to maximize value and minimize costs
Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw materials and packaging, aligning with production schedules and market trends
Conduct vendor research and evaluation, supporting the selection of new suppliers based on quality and cost-effectiveness
Implement and refine procurement procedures, providing training and guidance to team members
Oversee supplier management, including performance reviews, certifications, and compliance audits
Collaborate with production and accounting teams to coordinate orders, process invoices, and ensure accurate ERP data entry (Microsoft D365)
Proactively address supply chain challenges, mitigating shortages and optimizing delivery schedules
Perform regular inventory reconciliations and maintain supplier databases
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred)
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and manage competing priorities
Preferred
Experience in chemical manufacturing is highly desirable
