Responsibilities

Manage the full procurement cycle for laboratory, production (GMP), fixed assets, and administrative supplies, from sourcing through delivery

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers; ensure compliance with GMP, quality, EHS, and regulatory requirements

Build and maintain supplier relationships, oversee supplier performance, and lead supplier evaluations in coordination with QA

Oversee the invoice process, ensuring timely and accurate three-way matching (PO, delivery, invoice) and on-time payments in collaboration with Finance

Maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and ensure supplier qualification and documentation are audit-ready

Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to align material forecasts with production needs

Enforce adherence to company procurement policies and ethical standards, safeguarding compliance with laws and internal controls

Provide regular reporting on spend, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives

Drive process improvements in procurement, invoice management, and supplier engagement

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field

5+ years of procurement experience, ideally with GMP-related materials in biotech, pharma, or life sciences

Self-starter with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive results without close supervision

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams (Finance, QA, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Legal)

Proven ability to build trust, manage relationships, and resolve conflicts constructively

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement

Experience overseeing procurement and invoice/payment processes

Preferred

Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS)
