Responsibilities

Oversee procurement of raw materials, inventory control, and warehouse operations

Manage internal and off-site warehouses to ensure timely delivery of finished goods

Coordinate shipping and transportation logistics, including freight pricing and scheduling

Communicate with plant leadership on stock availability, shipment dates, and production needs

Implement inventory management systems and conduct cycle counts

Negotiate vendor contracts in collaboration with corporate purchasing

Lead and develop your team through coaching, goal setting, and performance evaluations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards

Apply manufacturing techniques such as JIT and MRPII to optimize operations

Maintain 24-hour emergency availability for critical supply chain needs
