Assistant Facilities Manager

Bessemer Trust is actively recruiting for an Assistant Facilities Manager to lead and manage regional facilities projects while ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of their office facilities. The role involves managing construction and renovation projects, overseeing day-to-day facilities operations, and collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that support business goals.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of construction, renovation, and relocation projects across regional office locations
Oversee external partners including architects, engineers, general contractors, consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and quality standards
Review, manage and track construction documents, permitting processes and site inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and project readiness
Monitor and report on project timelines, budgets, risks, and key deliverables
Act as the primary liaison between Facilities and internal departments (IT, Security, Office Services, Marketing, local Office Managers, etc.) to support workplace experience initiatives
Serve as main contact on day-to-day facilities operations to property managers, landlords, office managers, ensuring safe, secure, clean and well-maintained environments in our regional offices
Maintain records and documentation related to building systems, vendor certifications, inspections, and regulatory compliance for our regional offices
Travel regionally as needed

Required

7+ years in facilities or project management, preferably in a multi-site or regional capacity
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
Experience with physical security systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, problem-solving, adaptability and collaboration

Preferred

Familiarity with ORACLE, AutoCAD or Bluebeam Revu a plus
