In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage a small team, strengthen supplier partnerships, and drive process improvements that support efficient, high-quality manufacturing in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the Purchasing team to achieve departmental goals, meet schedules, and resolve operational challenges

Develop and implement strategic purchasing and planning methods, policies, and supplier partnerships that ensure quality, compliance, and cost efficiency

Negotiate supplier contracts and pricing for new and existing items or projects

Analyze market trends to forecast demand and support long-term sourcing strategies

Evaluates material requirements planning parameters to ensure material availability for production while minimizing inventory and costs

Approve and manage supplier onboarding, evaluations, and performance reviews

Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product development with procurement and scheduling expertise

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships

Manage budgets and resources effectively, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and clear communication in a fast-paced, regulated environment
