Responsibilities
Handle contested matrimonial and custody cases from inception through trial or settlement, draft prenuptial agreements, obtain orders of protections in domestic violence matters
Collaborate closely with a small, experienced team of attorneys and support staff
Appear in courts throughout Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan
Join a firm with a consistent caseload that is involved in approximately 4 to 6 trials annually
Qualification
Required
At least 8 years of experience litigating matrimonial and family law cases, including conducting depositions, hearings, and trials (first chair experience is a plus, second chair experience with an eagerness to be first chair will be considered)
Strong knowledge of New York matrimonial law and courtroom procedures
Ability to work onsite in Garden City, with occasional flexibility as needed
