Master Scheduler
Milacron is a global leader in the plastic technology and processing industry, seeking a Master Scheduler to organize production according to demand and parts availability. This role involves coordinating production workflows, determining schedules, and collaborating with various departments to ensure efficient production operations.

Responsibilities
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
Plan and prioritize machine start dates to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Determine production schedules and parts needed to cover production demand
Work with engineering, procurement, and product management to quote and schedule new machine opportunities
Monitor jobs to ensure machines and subassemblies functions are sequenced correctly
Address part shortage issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
Keep paperwork organized
Maintain parts book / files and resolve missing parts effectively
Be familiar with engineering REV levels to ensure orders are current
Collaborate with Warehouse, Assembly, Mt. Orab, and Buyer/Planners and other staff
Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines
Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion
Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution
Investigate production problems, analyze root causes and provide solutions
Communicate production status to Group Lead on regular basis
Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations
Ability to read and understand blueprints to help with shop floor employees
Lead internal and external production meetings
Oversee internal and external sub-contract work
Manage and update company financial targets and forecasting
Work with multiple departments both internal and external
Qualification
Required
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Experience with JD Edwards
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
Good at math and statistics
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication abilities
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field
Associate degree in business, engineering, or related field with 4-5 years of relative experience in manufacturing
High school diploma or equivalent with 5-10 years relative experience in Manufacturing or combination of both education and experience
