Machine Assembler- 1st Shift

Responsibilities
Read, comprehend, and interpret hydraulic & mechanical drawings
Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example
Perform all hydraulic/mechanical assembly operations
Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc
Work with minimal supervision
Operates overhead cranes and any other equipment needed to move large machine parts or to complete the job
Recognize problems during assembly, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them
Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads
Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout
Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner
Qualification
Required

Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments
Preferred
Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them
Recommend improvements for work area, products, and processes
Perform prototype work with limited Engineering and minimal supervision
