Responsibilities
Help design, build, and test prototypes, requiring extensive hands-on time and experience
Work independently and effectively to accomplish work assignments on time and on budget
Qualification
Required
UAS / light aircraft configuration design, build, and testing experiences
Aviation/marine powerplant and energy system development
Internal combustion engine and alternative energy system integration
Microsoft Office proficient
Solidworks or similar CAD system proficient
Minimum BS degree in mechanical, ocean, aeronautical, or electrical engineering
US Citizenship
Preferred
UAS power system and range extender system design and performance analysis
Powerplant installation, cooling system, and power management
Drone energy system architecture, controller programming, and testing
Electronic engine control, system architecture, wiring, harness, and assembly
Alternative energy system, including hydrogen, and next-gen battery technologies
Masters Degree
