Responsibilities

Maintain and deliver operational KPIs such as Claim Management, Purchase Order (PO) execution, exception message resolution, parts escalation and availability, invoice reconciliation, and buyer productivity metrics to ensure seamless procurement operations
Manage Supplier Relationships for vendors involved in tactical, day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring effective communication, timely issue resolution, and proper escalation when necessary
Implement and operationalize category strategies and framework contracts, providing valuable feedback and active contributions to Global Category Managers and Sourcing Managers to refine and enhance procurement strategies
Drive year-over-year cost savings through strategic negotiations and effective supplier management within assigned categories and suppliers
Oversee the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance at each step
Collaborate closely with Operating Companies (OpCos) and suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and payment issues promptly, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
Ensure adherence to PO policies and procedures, standardizing procurement processes across the organization to promote consistency and compliance
Maintain and update master data related to procurement activities and contribute to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) settings for procured parts, in alignment with guidance from the Global Materials Management (GMM) team
Utilize analytics, tools, capabilities, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) provided by the Center of Excellence (COE) and Excellence Management to optimize procurement performance and decision-making

Required

High School diploma required with 2 – 3 years of professional experience in procurement or related fields
Strong financial acumen and understanding of procurement financial metrics
Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Hands-on problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
Effective oral and written communication skills
Well-organized, autonomous work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Negotiation skills with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions

Preferred

Two or four year degree is preferred
Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
Proven stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards
