Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for machined and welded mechanical parts
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical specifications and requirements
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs and lead times
Improve the quality of purchased parts, conducting supplier performance evaluations, and strengthen partnerships with our strategic suppliers
Manage purchase orders and track procurement activities
Follow group policies, procedures, and KPIs to ensure alignment with corporate objectives
Continuously seek opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience or relevant training in mechanical engineering or a related field
Knowledge of mechanical components, machining, and welding processes
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Preferred
Previous experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
Experience in the manufacturing of welded or machined mechanical parts
