Regional Sales Engineer - Benelux

Coperion, an industry leader in compounding and extrusion, is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer for the Benelux region. The role involves servicing customers, coordinating with business units, forecasting sales, and promoting after-market business while maintaining strong communication and technical knowledge in the field.

Responsibilities

Directly service customers and coordinate activities with assigned Business Units to attain established goals
Forecast sales volumes for both direct business and resellers
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all Coperion products, policies and goals
Directly participate and formulate market penetration plan in coordination with BU leaders
Ensure quality of quotations, equipment selection, pricing and commercial terms with the support of product experts from the head offices
Review all contracts for acceptance and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
Participate in trade shows and sales seminars
Participate in travelling road shows, presentations etc
Assist in collection of overdue accounts
Closely monitor status of outstanding quotations and develop/implement strategy for closing the order
Ensure timely follow-up on all leads that are generated for respective territories, representatives and key accounts
Manage and be fully responsible for demo equipment used in assigned territory
Actively promote after market business

Required

Experience in sales and applications sales for engineering of a highly technical product
Technical-commercial education with further training in sales and marketing
Knowledge of production processes employed within chemical, plastics, battery and recycling industries is advantageous
Knowledge of selling process; marketing techniques, process control, weighing, bulk materials handling within above mentioned process industries
Strong network capabilities both with customers as well as internal
Results-focused personality with vision, energy and flair
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
Knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
Travel: approximately 50 - 70%
