Responsibilities

Collaborate with our Automation Engineers and Technicians to improve our machine safety systems
Work on updating the machine guards through 3D modeling, 3D printing, and hands-on shop work
Take the lead in advancing a robotic project, building on the work of a previous intern
Support the setup and implementation of machine metrics on various shop floor machines

Qualification

Required

Full-time, on-site availability (40 hours/week)
Currently enrolled in college/university with Fall 2026 registration confirmed
Must be a rising junior or higher
Major in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar area of focus
3D Modeling experience
Strong computer skills
Experience with Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred

PLC experience desired
