Responsibilities
Lead design, programming, and integration of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon, AVEVA, Ignition)
Oversee system start-up, commissioning, and testing (FAT/SAT) while mentoring field teams
Review and redline P&IDs, control narratives, wiring diagrams, and as-built drawings
Specify instrumentation, I/O lists, and cause-and-effect matrices; ensure all designs meet standards and cost goals
Support IT/OT network architecture, server/VM setup, and cybersecurity compliance
Anticipate customer needs, identify risks, and coordinate proactive solutions
Collaborate with project managers to ensure scope, schedule, and budget success
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5–7+ years in controls/automation, including 3+ years in project engineering or technical leadership
PLC and SCADA/HMI programming, field commissioning, instrumentation, and network integration
Strong communicator, analytical thinker, steady under pressure, and team-oriented
Valid driver's license
Work authorization in the U.S
