Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that are aligned with organizational objectives
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors
Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality
Proactively identify and address risks in the supply chain (ex: notifying teams of long lead times)
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurement related activities
Lead and support the product production line as needed
Support the development of project plans, objectives, scopes, and communicate with stakeholders
Additional responsibilities as needed

Qualification

Procurement experienceAerospace industry knowledgeERP software proficiencyAS9100D knowledgeSelf-starter

Required

Bachelors of Science in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
4+ years of professional experience in procurement within aerospace, aircraft manufacturing or FAA regulated environment
Self-starter with ability to drive improvement, meet timeliness and objectives

Preferred

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline
10+ years of professional experience in procurement within a highly technical environment
Familiarity with ERP software such as Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365
Knowledge of AS9100D, ISO9001, and other Quality Standards is highly desirable
