Responsibilities
Supports and coordinates a range of academic programs
Works on various programs throughout the year; including researching and writing of highly confidential material and working with other departments within the University
Interacts with faculty, students and staff within and outside of the University
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to develop new skills with minimal structured training, excellent organizational abilities, and attention to detail
Versatile communication skills, including the ability to produce creative and compelling content suitable for various media
Demonstrated passion for the field of research or professional area, with a commitment to staying current on developments
Strong computer skills and familiarity with relevant software and tools
Appreciation and respect for principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to engage with diverse individuals
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Recent college graduate with relevant degree or experience in the field
Familiarity with the institution and its programs; demonstrated ability to inspire and lead student groups
Experience with informal education, science communication, or specific research techniques
Fluency in a second language is a plus
Leadership experience and strong communication skills
