Responsibilities

To provide instruction to students and help promote effective learning

To ensure that course content is consistent with program guidelines

To maintain communication with program coordinator, and with the faculty

Qualification

Required

Master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or related field

Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in one or more core areas of computer science, such as Data Structures, Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Databases, Computer networks, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Data Science, full stack Web Development

Prior experience that shows working effectively and productively in a collaborative and diverse environment

Demonstrated commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and perspectives

Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field

Prior experience in teaching computer science courses at the college level or relevant industry training

Practical experience in the computer science industry or involvement in relevant research projects

Experience designing and constructing effective learning activities

Evidence of efforts to improve student success in an open-enrollment institution
