Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain payroll records, tax filings, and employee data with the highest level of confidentiality
Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee information, compensation changes, and benefits deductions
Resolve payroll-related questions, discrepancies, and audits
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and variance analyses
Prepare and review financial statements and internal management reports
Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with GAAP
Support external audits and work closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including payroll oversight
Strong knowledge of GAAP and payroll regulations
Experience with accounting and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)
Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and data integrity
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA or CMA
Experience managing or supervising accounting staff
