Responsibilities

Dive into a comprehensive curriculum blending classroom learning, hands-on experience, and mentorship from industry experts

Gain deep expertise in Equipment Breakdown insurance with option to focus on other critical areas in risk management later on

Build relationships with senior leaders, peers, and mentors who will guide your journey

Upon successful completion, transition into a full-time Underwriter role with increased responsibility, autonomy, and binding authority

Required

Recent or upcoming graduates (Class of 2025/2026) with a Bachelor's or Master's in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint)

Leadership qualities: curiosity, integrity, drive, and analytical thinking

Effective working both independently and as part of a greater team

To stay connected with our team and thrive in this role, we require a minimum of 3 in-office days per week at our Hartford headquarters

Preferred

Prior internship experience in insurance/underwriting is a plus

Progress toward CPCU designation is an asset

Familiarity with SharePoint, SQL, Gen AI is a bonus
