Responsibilities

Engage in the design, development, and testing of software changes required for converting mission essential enterprise applications into cloud environments

Develop, test, and coordinate a deployment plan to implement changes seamlessly into the cloud environment

Leverage cloud experience to ensure a smooth integration of modified capabilities into cloud environments, optimizing performance and resource utilization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

12+ years of solid software engineering experience

Experience managing and optimizing DevOps practices

In-depth understanding of DevOps principles, tools, and methodologies

Experience with CI/CD processes for automation

Experience working in C2S (AWS), and using EC2, S3, ECS, Fargate and others

Experience with Java, Bash Scripting, Python

Experience with agile development methodologies

Preferred

Understanding of distributed systems

AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar
