Systems Engineer (Future Opportunity)

They are seeking a Systems Engineer to support DoD cloud initiatives, ensuring compliance and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate cloud adoption and manage technical authorizations.

Responsibilities
Evaluate CSP documentation, releases, and technical artifacts; advise on operational and compliance impacts
Support cloud infrastructure design emphasizing scalability, automation, and security
Coordinate with CSPs, DISA, and Cyber PMO to support DoD cloud adoption and authorization efforts
Provide Tier 3 support to the SCCA PMO
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Ten (10) years of general experience with at least 5 years in Computer Science or related engineering field
Have an active DoD Secret clearance
DoD 8140 Role Information Assurance Management (IAM) II+ Certification (i.e. CISSP, SecurityX, Security+ etc)
Experience with at least one major cloud provider. Experience with multiple CSPs is preferred
Experience designing cloud infrastructure capable of supporting applications in the cloud with an emphasis on scalability, automation, performance and availability
Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation including roadmaps
Experience supporting technical engagements with Government customers, contractors and CSPs
Experience establishing and maintaining CAP circuit connections
Demonstrated experience providing Tier 3 support to cloud systems and infrastructure
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Professional Certifications from Azure and/or AWS
