Responsibilities
Obtain and synthesize quantitative market data from the regions to determine global market size, Allison market share and create global market segmentation/viewpoint for the vocation
Lead marketing input into the Customer Value Creation Process (CVCP) to support and inform sales, product development and product planning organizations
Identify and assess key global market requirements / trends in the vocation and implications to Allison
Conduct Voice of Customer studies to understand customer wants and needs and Allison performance vs. competitors
Support competitive analysis activities to understand Allison value proposition vs. competitors in the vocation
Evaluate economic value of product proposal to guide global standard pricing decisions
Represent Allison Marketing and Sales in Product Line Teams
Create reporting and communicate Allison market position, global vocational trends, etc. to MSS and Allison leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study
Minimum 5 years industrial, marketing, or commercial experience
Able to read, analyze, and interpret common research and technical documents
History of strong data driven decision making process
Ability to compile and present information to top management and peers
Preferred
MBA will be an added advantage
Preferred Global experience or a global perspective
