Responsibilities
Analyze China’s policy landscape as it informs asset markets & economies
Source, translate, and interpret Chinese-language policy documents, data, and media sources
Use AI tools and LLMs to organize, summarize, and extract insights from unstructured data
Track developments in China’s government policy framework
Collaborate with research and engineering teams to enhance Bridgewater’s internal AI-driven research capabilities
Build structured datasets, identify emerging trends, and generate insights that inform investment and policy research
Qualification
Required
Fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing, and professional communication)
Strong understanding of China's government structure, policy process, and AI ecosystem
Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) work and how they are trained or fine-tuned
Ability to engineer prompts, and deploy models in the service of the goal
Proven ability to work effectively with research, engineering, and data science teams
Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field
