Program Analyst (System Operations)

Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and controlling the efforts of an integrated team
Develops, designs, and tests the implementation of DLA, DOD or Service/Agency sponsored initiates, projects/programs related to e-Commerce, logistics or other major data system management
Incumbent will plan, direct, and manage activities in support of system sustainment and new system enhancements, ensuring priorities are established and milestone schedules are coordinated and published to reflect agreed upon priorities
Establish and maintain communications with the appropriate staff within DLA and DLA Information Operations ensuring knowledge transfer to advance and sustain mission requirements
Interacts directly with representatives from Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy in coordinating, planning, and execution of the program

To qualify for an Program Analyst (Systems Operations) your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Develops, plans, and implements short and long term goals, objectives and strategies in support of the Sustainment and Maintenance Planning for enhancing efficiency, reducing cost, assuring customer satisfaction and improving customer support. Oversees responsibilities for all contracting support and actions associated with program execution and provides guidance to the program office staff in all aspects of sustainment and maintenance planning, documentation, requirements traceability, testing, program reviews, and performs milestone approval process, ensuring priorities are established and milestone schedules are coordinated and published to reflect the agreed priorities. Analyzes and coordinates with customers to refine functional requirements and translate functional requirements into appropriate enterprise specifications
