COME100: Business Development Team Lead

JerseySTEM is dedicated to providing STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. They are seeking a Community Engagement Business Development Team Lead to provide leadership in engaging with middle schools that could benefit from their afterschool STEM programs, managing a team of Area Managers to achieve outreach goals.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Data Analytics team to identify Schools of interest that could partner with JerseySTEM, amongst New Jersey 2000+ middle schools according to criteria established by the board of Directors
Research schools, identifies stakeholders (School admins) and locate their contacts
Assign schools to Area Managers and agree on targets/goals for the outreach
Partner with Area managers to call on schools identified as targets
Participate in the COME leadership team activities
Conduct/Attend virtual team meetings weekly : (Sundays 6pm EST)

Required

Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap
Interest and familiarity with Data and data based decision making
Interest and/or familiarity with K-12 school data
Strong Analytical skills
Resourceful, can-do attitude
Comfort working in a ‘virtual organization' with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce)

Preferred

Would be a plus if candidate has flexible schedule to allow for day time calls with the school admins during the work week
