Responsibilities
Working with clients to understand their vision and scope of the project
Understanding detailed project specifications to design the 'bones' and load-bearing elements of a project
Leverage design software such as AutoCAD or RIVIT
Ensure precise calculations, analysis, and safety in project design through meticulous attention to detail
Provide structural engineering expertise, support, and work cross-functionally with other engineering disciplines, architects, and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent ABET-accredited engineering program
Master's degree in Structural Engineering required
Engineer Intern Certification or ability to obtain soon after hire
0-3 years of relevant experience in civil structural design work
Proficient with engineering design software such as REVIT/BIM or RISA, or similar
Principal knowledge of load calculations, structural analysis, and design engineering
Strong communication, both written and verbal
