Environmental Control Technician III- Gamebird Biological Aide IV
The State of Delaware’s Division of Fish and Wildlife is responsible for managing and conserving the quality of wildlife and habitats. The Environmental Control Technician III will assist with waterfowl and migratory gamebird projects, directing fieldwork activities and conducting various surveys and data collection tasks.

Responsibilities
Provides technical support in studies, surveys, inspections and research projects
Collects field samples and data
Provides technical information and assistance to the public and the regulated community
Interprets rules and regulations for assigned area
Reviews permit applications and supplemental paperwork for approval or recommendation for disapproval
Operates and maintains vehicles, boats and sampling equipment
Maintains accurate records and prepares reports
May assist in processing biological samples
Qualification
Required
Six months experience in conducting field work to collect environmental or ecological samples and survey data
Six months experience in analyzing and evaluating data
Six months experience in math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, or decimals
Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures
Six months experience in narrative report writing
Six months experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data
Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving)
