Responsibilities

Lead the design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems
Develop and implement global engineering standards for process equipment design, fabrication, and maintenance
Support CAPEX project execution from concept through installation and commissioning
Apply 'Design for Reliability' principles to ensure robust and sustainable equipment performance
Evaluate engineering calculations, specifications, and datasheets to deliver complete technical definitions for rotating equipment
Conduct technical bid evaluations, supplier selection, and oversee vendor engagement, design reviews, and inspections
Contribute to maintenance programs, Best Operating Practices (BOP), and critical routines to optimize reliability

Required

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of mechanical design experience, including CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks) and FEA
Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and large-scale project execution
Knowledge of rotating equipment, reliability principles, and international engineering standards
Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement to resolve complex technical and business challenges
Advanced data modeling and analytical skills to drive informed decisions
Ability to identify gaps and implement improvements for global safety and quality compliance
Expertise in introducing best-in-class technologies and driving innovation across multiple sites
Proven leadership in mentoring engineers and fostering cross-functional teamwork

Preferred

Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification preferred
