They are seeking a detail-oriented Microsoft Purview Administrator to lead the configuration, testing, and management of data governance and compliance policies within the Microsoft Purview portal, ensuring secure and efficient data handling across the organization.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and test data governance and compliance policies

Validate policy effectiveness through simulations and reporting tools

Create, modify, and manage role groups and custom roles within the Purview portal

Assign users and groups to appropriate roles

Administer and configure Microsoft Purview and integrated Microsoft 365 services

Monitor system performance and respond to incidents

Document configurations, procedures, and access control strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview administration including testing, developing and testing policy, creating roles and assigning user roles

Must be able to commute to Beltsville, MD or Washington, DC for full-time onsite work

Experience with Microsoft 365 compliance solutions

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

US Citizenship with a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Preferred

Experience with InTune

Microsoft certifications
