The ideal candidate will work with Mastercam and Fanuc-controlled lathes to manage workflows independently and ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities
Program CNC lathe parts in Mastercam, including toolpaths and operations sequencing
Set up CNC lathes for production: workholding, tooling, offsets, and first-article verification
Operate CNC lathes to produce parts to print with high quality and efficiency
Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; requirements
Optimize machining processes to reduce cycle time and improve quality
Perform in-process inspection using precision measurement tools
Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and program inefficiencies
Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area
Collaborate with supervisors and machinists to meet production goals
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Mastercam for lathe programming
Strong experience with FANUC controls
Ability to independently set up and run CNC lathe jobs
2–3 years machining experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Preferred
Experience machining engineering plastics (Delrin, Nylon, PEEK, Ultem, etc.)
Experience with Mastercam lathe or mill-turn modules
Knowledge of G-code editing and conversational programming
Experience with quality processes or FAIR documentation
