Responsibilities

Effectively manage on-site Amazon and Walmart paid media activity (Sponsored Ads, DSP) to meet business objectives and goals
Serve as main POC for all things retail media, leading conversations, meetings, and QBRs with stakeholders and partners
Lead retail media team, organizing and splitting workload across team members to appropriately service the account
Participate in media strategy and tactical planning, assisting the team in media proposals
Oversee and support execution of Sponsored Ads and DSP campaigns, inclusive of keyword mining, category trends, competitor research, audience strategies, negative targeting, etc
Train junior team members and ramp up their learning and hands-on involvement to take on core responsibilities of their roles and the team
Manage pacing and monthly budgets, optimal allocation between ad formats, bidding and related settings, spend reconciliation and other related financial upkeep
Analyze performance for optimizations and prepare report share-outs, identifying actionable insights and opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Channel Marketing, Creative, and Sales to ensure holistic planning and execution
Identify and implement testing opportunities to drive performance improvements and contribute to broader strategic initiatives

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications highly preferred
7+ years in a strategy or planning role, setting up and managing media campaigns
Minimum of 5 years or more hands-on management of Amazon Advertising campaigns
Experience in consumer electronics and familiarity with other retail media partners such as Walmart, Target, Wayfair, etc
Excellent communications skills; experience managing client communications, presenting to stakeholders
Previous manager experience, responsible and an advocate for other team members
Deep understanding of digital media campaign management and optimization best practices with an emphasis on Amazon Search and DSP
Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to develop data-driven insights
Highly organized, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to work with cross-functional teams
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
Self-motivated with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
Familiarity with Amazon Retail Marketplace (Vendor Central) environment
Client facing, confident communication, and work, present and educate
High level thinking, strategic standpoint and solution oriented
