Responsibilities
Support the PR department in day-to-day coordination of PR campaigns and strategies across divisions
Draft and edit basic PR materials such as bios, media advisories, marketing materials, etc
Research emerging media voices, journalists, and outlets to identify new opportunities, while building and maintaining media contact lists
Monitor athlete mentions, sports coverage, and trending stories, compiling reports and media clippings to track visibility and impact
Support proactive media outreach by assisting with pitches, press recaps, tracking, and research
Assist with general department organization, file management, and media documentation
Contribute creative ideas for storytelling, social tie-ins, or athlete spotlights during team brainstorms
Qualification
Required
Current student or recent graduate in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
Strong writing and organizational skills with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset
Passion for sports, media, and storytelling
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social media and media monitoring platforms
