Solutions Architect — MSP & IT Services

Planhat is a next-generation CRM focused on the recurring revenue economy, and they are seeking a Solutions Architect to join their rapidly growing MSP & IT Services team. The role involves leading technical discovery, designing tailored solutions, and collaborating with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure customer success through effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with prospective MSP and IT-services customers - understand business goals, data flows, and integration needs
Design and present tailored solutions: data mappings, architecture plans, and demonstration environments that bring the value of Planhat to life
Own and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) and demo configurations - ensuring we show not just what we can do, but what we will deliver
Collaborate with Sales and CS to shape winning proposals that balance customer ambition with technical feasibility
Create and maintain pre-sales collateral - demo environments, integration templates, and documentation that support the sales process
Partner with delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover from pre-sales to implementation, managing expectations and ensuring a clear path to success
We’re a small, fast-moving team, so expect to roll up your sleeves - some days you’ll be deep in a POC, other days helping ensure a smooth technical delivery. It’s all part of making sure our customers succeed

Required

A technical mindset - comfortable and intrigued when working with data manipulation, integrations, APIs, webhooks, and ETL tools
Consultative skills - you dig into business problems, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate them clearly
The ability to balance speed and rigour - you move quickly but ensure deliverables are solid and credible
A collaboration-first approach - partnering closely with Sales, CS, and delivery to make every deal a success
3-5 years of experience in a technical or customer facing role

Preferred

Experience in pre-sales or solution engineering (bonus, not required)
Bonus: experience handling multi-vendor data or complex integration environments
Bonus: familiarity with the Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and other MSP/OEM architecture
