Responsibilities
Support data-informed decisions by analyzing and interpreting large and complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns and insights related to student retention, academic performance and other academic factors
Manage partner research projects as directed and approved by the Board or Executive Director
Collect and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to support strategic planning, policy development, budgeting and research projects
Develop analysis and reporting used by FFWS Board to communicate research findings to non-technical audiences
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to institutional and academic leaders throughout the state of Wisconsin, both in-person and virtually
Organize, manage and automate multiple research projects at any time
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics or related field
5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the higher education field
Experience leading quantitative and qualitative studies (i.e., focus groups, surveys, etc.)
Proven experience in interpreting and communicating complex data sets
Advanced proficiency in Statistical Software, Data Visualization tools and data manipulation/extraction practices
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to academic institutions throughout the state during the academic year
Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
