The role involves serving as the chief photographer and photo editor, responsible for selecting, editing, and publishing photos, as well as training other staffers in photography and photo editing.
Responsibilities
Responsible for selecting, editing, positioning and publishing photos for Foghorn News
Chief photographer
Train other staffers in photography and photo editing
Write stories, design pages and produce videos for the print and online editions
Qualification
Required
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed
Preferred
Experience with a college publication or other news publication preferred
Graphic Artist Experience Preferred
Knowledge of AP style preferred
Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop programs preferred
Skilled in video editing preferred
