Responsibilities
Review prints, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
Build and maintain customer relationships through consistent communication
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Production, and Accounting
Follow up on submitted quotes and track wins/losses
Maintain estimating databases and ensure specification accuracy
Support continuous improvement in estimating, quality, and customer experience
Qualification
Required
Inside sales and/or estimating experience (manufacturing, coatings, machining, fabrication, or similar fields)
Ability to read blueprints and interpret customer requirements
Strong organization, accuracy, and follow-through
Comfort working with customers and internal production teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems a plus
A collaborative, team-oriented work style
