Manufacturing Engineering Technician- Automation

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician - Automation will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment and machinery, supporting the operation of various production machinery and ensuring safety and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

Support the operation of various electro-mechanical production machinery, equipment and tooling
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems along with Automation Engineers
Completing changeovers, adjustments, repairs, and preventive maintenance requirements
Follow directions from supervisors, schematics, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, method sheets, and SOPs to troubleshoot malfunctions
Assist in the maintenance and safety requirements of the production equipment
Work in coordination with broader team to develop machine user requirements, Statements of work for vendors, validation documents and execution of machine build and validation for new equipment

Ability to relate machine automation with Genomic principles and lab techniques for lab processes and chemistry
