Microsoft Reporting Platform & Data Analytics Senior Associate
Grant Thornton is seeking a Microsoft Reporting Platform & Data Analytics Senior Associate to join the team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft BI tools and data management to design, build, and optimize reporting platforms that empower business decision-making.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Building and maintaining reporting platforms using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Data Factory
Developing interactive dashboards and automated reports for cross-functional teams
Leading PowerPoint report builds, including data modeling and advanced visualizations
Managing ad hoc reporting requests and ensuring timely delivery
Designing scalable data solutions with SQL Server, Azure, and Snowflake
Leading migration projects to Snowflake and overseeing ETL pipeline development with Azure Data Factory and Alteryx
Ensuring data governance, quality, and compliance with organizational standards
Partnering with business stakeholders to deliver tailored Microsoft BI solutions
Training users on Power BI and platform best practices
Presenting data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Automating and streamlining reporting processes using Microsoft tools
Staying current with advancements in Microsoft and Snowflake technologies
Promoting best practices for data security and management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in report building, data management, and analytics with Microsoft technologies
Advanced skills in Power BI, PowerPoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure Data Factory
Strong experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, and Alteryx
Expertise in scalable reporting platforms and automated pipelines
Financial acumen, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred
Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and agile project management
